A Plumber's Best Friend

At HCS Smart Devices, LLC we know how terrifying it can be when you have an internal water leak.  Frantically you will try to shut off the water supply line to your toilet, sink, water heater or washing machine just to find the valve stuck in place – or worse, the valve handle snaps off in your hand ! 

Most plumbing experts highly suggest that homeowners check these shut off valves to ensure they are in good working condition at least twice a year by simply turning each one completely off and back on again. Let’s face it…who has the time or can remember to check all these valves ! My philosophy is, unless a valve is leaking I leave it alone and if one does develop a leak I utilize my Water Handler System to quickly turn off the water to the entire home then call my plumber and have the valve replaced.
